VisorBot 1.2.12: Your Phone Assistant, Now Smarter and Faster

VisorBot 1.2.12 makes your Android phone assistant about 40% faster and smarter: phone automation that sees the screen, with macros you run again.

A man plays a game on his TV and asks VisorBot out loud to answer his girlfriend; the VisorBot phone assistant types the reply in the Android chat app for him.

VisorBot 1.2.12 is out. VisorBot is a phone assistant for Android: you tell it what to do in plain words, typed or spoken, and it taps, types and swipes for you. This is the biggest update since launch, and it makes that phone automation smarter and faster.

About 40% faster

We optimized how VisorBot reads the screen and talks to the AI. Tasks now finish about 40% faster, with fewer wasted steps along the way.

Just say it: voice commands

Hold the floating VisorBot orb and say what you want, such as “take a selfie” or “set an alarm for 7”. No typing and no app picker: VisorBot works out which app you mean, asks the first time if it is not sure, and remembers your answer. The result shows in a small bubble next to the orb and is read out loud. VisorBot receives only the words you said, never the recording.

The AI sees what its taps did

Before, the AI judged each step from the text on the screen. A tap that did nothing could still look like success. Now it gets a small picture of the screen after every step it tries, so it can tell when something did not change and try again. On plans with vision it can also zoom in to read small text.

Two ways to ask

You don’t pick a mode. Just say what you want, and the way you ask decides.

The chat keeps your recipes

Each thing the AI builds leaves a small card in the conversation. Tap it to open the recipe’s steps in a drawer, and whatever you type next changes that recipe. Undo goes back up to five changes. Recipes stay on your phone, so closing the chat or restarting the app no longer loses them.

You can also just ask the bot a question, such as “what is on the screen?”, and it answers without building anything.

Fixes you will notice

Your plan at a glance

Settings now shows your run time left today, recipe slots used and AI credits left, with when each one refills. Settings also has a light theme, a Help and FAQ row, and a Send feedback row that opens an email to us.

More than an auto clicker

An auto clicker taps the same spot over and over. VisorBot looks at the screen first, so it can find the right button, wait for a page to load and check that each step worked. When you want the same thing again, save it as a recipe: an Android macro that runs with one tap. And if you do need fast repeated taps, the Multi tap step does that too.

How to update

Open VisorBot and accept the update prompt when it appears.

As always, if something doesn’t work the way you expect, tell us from Settings, Send feedback. We read every message.
